Haze Schepmyer
Registered Yoga Teacher, 200 hrs (RYT-200)
Hi everyone! I discovered Power Yoga as a student in October 2018 when I was looking for low-impact cardio options after I re-tore my left meniscus. I played a lot of football, field hockey and volleyball in school which caused my first two meniscal tears and my third meniscal tear brought me home to my yoga mat.
I started teaching in August 2020 and my intention is set on creating a safe space for individuals to begin investigating physical, emotional and/or mental experiences in every pose that is accessible to them. My absolute favourite part of teaching yoga is the opportunity to attempt breaking down poses so individuals may be able to discover their fullest expression in each one.
Whether you’re choosing to join me for Chair Yoga or Power Yoga, I look forward to exploring ways I can help you with generating strength, constructing stability and producing stamina through Tadasana (Mountain Pose).

Blake is a 200Hr. RYT through Power Yoga Canada and has completed Yoga Alliance accredited modules in Assisting, Yin, and Meditation & Mindfulness. He feels that yoga helps to peel back the layers that shield us from living most authentically and offers a variety of styles ranging from vinyasa to meditation.
